Bending overflow pipe

Anyone else have success bending overflow pipe in there 22mm bender?

Yep you have to account for the spring back so have to go past

Thanks know can't make a 90 degree bend with it. But is a 45 do able?

Yes 45 also 90 also is but it needs to be warmed

Brand new plastic seems to bend okay but 135° solvent weld elbows are readily available if you don't want to experiment.

Bends ok, but not as well as the 3/4" plastic conduit.

Same as solvent weld, warmed up and filled with sand.

I did a bath overflow a long time ago (unusual large bore about 38mm from bad memory) a repair replacement, and made the new pipe by heating it. Had several attempts though before I was happy. Do it outside for safety. Filling with sand is interesting idea.
