Hi my mum has a 1950s New World range type cooker that we were worried was leaking gas. Today national grid disconnected it as there were very low ppm levels of gas from the 2 pilot lights. would it be possible to fix it with a service? Any suggestions please. We are in South Manchester.

Hi there
I have a 1950s New World Seventy Five gas cooker that was working up until being installed from its previous owners house and coming to live with me. I need to find a plumber to install it for me. Please can someone advise on how to go about this?
Thanks
Bryony
Went to a bathroom rip out today and removed the tiling off the dry lining....there was a name and address of a customer I had done work for about 7 miles away from this job written on the dry lining that lived a couple of doors down from me!
Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I have a Zanussi New World 95 Cooker from 1970. The ignition for the main oven isn't working. Any ideas on how it can be fixed?
Thank you

Hey,
I'm new here and saying a courteous hello.
Like my bio says, I've come from an office background and I'm sick of staring at a computer screen! I like being out and about and the only trade I've ever wanted to do is plumbing. I'm 36 and I've decided to take the plunge (no pun intended)...
