Bad leak inside bathroom walls at floor for three days. A gallon every hour. Shut off water for a few hours and leak stopped. Turned water back on and leak has not come back. What happened?

I’m guessing it’ll be back.
Probably got a pocket of air between the water and the source of the leak, but once you start using everything the leak will come back.
Really need more info of what’s in the wall and some pictures of the bathroom.
