i have a problem with mains supply, on my in coming main i have a 22mm stopcock followed by 22mm non return valve then followed by what i think is a pressure reducing valve. i had no water coming through at all so i removed black cap off PRV and found a spring put it back together now im getting high pressure on the dial on the PRV when a tap is turned the dial swings round to low and gives medium to low pressure will i need a new PRV if that is what it is any way, had a plumber out he said must be problem with water board, im in a block of flats everyone else ok so i know it cant be that

no i did not disconnect the valve but will do if it happens agian many thanks
