I continually read 1/2 inch imp copper pipe is same as 15mm...
that being the case why are B and Q selling 15mm -1/2 inch imp copper coupling adaptors?
I find 15mm copper fittings quite difficult to fit on 1/2 inch copper pipe so much so I will buy 15mm to replace it
Does Powerfow flux go off? does it have a shelf life?
I have some lead solder I wish to use on none water copper pipes ..can I use lead free flux ?

thank you

Aslong as the lids tight it should be fine you can easily tell as power is a crisp white if it’s off it’s more yellow / runny

As for the pipe it’s one of them depending on the wall thickness it can vairy od

Usually 1/2" ID Cu has a slightly larger OD than 15mm Cu. You can sand it down but I prefer adapters. 15mm compression fittings should work on 1/2" tube.

Not sure what 'none water copper' mean, but I'm not aware of compatibility issues with fluxes and lead solder.

to get a 15mm compression stop end on - had to file the tightening ring to get it on,then getting the olive on another mini nightmare then hammer on the locking nut head, 5 -15mm fittings to go on this pipe - ,no,off to Screwfix to replace the pipe.

If it's that thick, it's either been expanded by frost or it's probably very old. IS there a date stamp (usually the year) on the pipe wall out of interest?
