manual
The Monster Manual (MM) is the primary bestiary sourcebook for monsters in the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) fantasy role-playing game, first published in 1977 by TSR. The Monster Manual was the first hardcover D&D book and includes monsters derived from mythology and folklore, as well as creatures created specifically for D&D. Creature descriptions include game-specific statistics (such as the monster's level or number of hit dice), a brief description of its habits and habitats, and typically an image of the creature. Along with the Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide, the Monster Manual is one of the three "core rulebooks" in most editions of the D&D game. As such, new editions of the Monster Manual have been released for each edition of D&D. Due to the level of detail and illustration included in the 1977 release, the book was cited as a pivotal example of a new style of wargame books. Future editions would draw on various sources and act as a compendium of published monsters.
Hi,
I am not a plumber, I'm a customer looking to replace my existing Mira Go Power (Manual) shower and will hire a plumber to install it. I don't understand technical plumbing terminology.
What is the difference between (for instance) the Mira Vigor manual and the Mira Vigor thermostatic...

Hi, I hope this is the correct place to ask this.
I've been given a bunch of smart TRV's to put on my radiators at home. Mostly they've gone on fine (to these valves)
but 2 of my radiators have the manual valves shown in this image:
My question is, can I just remove that core and...
Hi, I bought a M30x1.5 thermostat and was hoping to fit it onto the radiator (there is currently no thermostat attached), but it does not fit (the thermostat connector is too wide, see photos). Do I need an adapter or something, or a different thermostat? Thanks!
Replacing a remote gas control valve with its manual equivalent.
My daughter has a gas coal effect fire. First, I know they're crap, she'll just use it for the occasional time that friends come round.
OK, so it has a remote (broken), a remote receiver (broken) and a motorised gas control...
Can a Propane Manual Change over Regulator Kit be adapted to switch between regular Butane Gas cooker cylinders?
Naturally, the correct/matching Butane fittings and hoses will be attached.
I'm just wondering if there are pressure differences between Propane & Butane cylinders that could cause...
Hi guys, our conventional oil boiler heating system has only ever heated our radiators and our hot water at the same time; we have no isolated hot water control, just a timer that does both. I'd love to be able to just heat our hot water from the boiler during the summer.
I had a look in our...

Hi, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone can help me with recognising this DFE gas fire and locating a manual for it.

Hello
I've recently come across a Sterling Bentone burner manual online which is for my 2001 burner and I intend to use it to check my electrode gaps.
The manual illustrates this information however it states multiple measurements and has me a little confused.
For gap between electrodes it...
Hi All, we are wanting to download a manual for a gas fire at a house recently purchased. It has been serviced & all ok, but we would like a manual if needed in the future.
Attached are photos of the two plates on the fire.
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
I have a Danfoss HSA3 3-port mid position actuator/motorised valve that has failed a few weeks ago which was no big deal as I have just been using the manual override switch on the side to set to either Central Heating or Hot Water as and when I need each until I got round to fitting...
Hi
I have had a smart system installed to control my boiler. This consists of a control unit attached to the boiler, Smart TRV's on all radiators except the living room which has a smart room thermostat (manual valve on living room rad).
My question is, why must I have a manual valve on the...
I fitted this automatic bath filler and temperature control some years ago.
Does anyone know the make and model or where I can get the user manual?
Thanks all!
I will soon be fitting a towel rail and have been looking at what manual corner valves are available.
I note that a good proportion of manual valves seem to be the opposite orientation to what I would expect i.e. the adjustable valve, if fitted on the left hand side, would stick out from the...
I’m in the uk and have a bathroom radiator with two manual valves, both of which leak slightly. i know that to turn my radiator off I need to turn clockwise, but for optimal setting, how far back should I turn them, e.g. 1/4 turn?
and should I turn both the left and right valves, or just one...

We have an ancient (probably 1987) oil boiler Perrymatics Jetstreme Mk2 running on Kerosene. Works beautifully. Have had it serviced until a year or two ago - and not since the pandemic ... This heats...
Hi, I'm having a new boiler installed as part of grant scheme in a few weeks' time. My GCH stopped working about 7 years ago and I couldn't afford to keep fixing it - at the time my boiler was only about 3 years old, but was told after about 3 fixes that it was sludged up and needed a power...
