I have a few work pants and t shirts that i've managed to get flux on and they have turned pink.

Was looking for a bit of advice on a dark stain that I noticed above my bedroom door.
It doesn't feel damp to the touch but there's an area of brownish staining in and around it. This staining doesn't feel damp either.

can anyone suggest a cleaner for removing the odd mark on carpets caused be the occasional dropped fire coal / flux brush/soot etc . had to give a customer a discount as a coal rolled onto the carpet and marked it.
It's not happened to me yet, but despite being carefull with towels and dust sheets, I know it's bound to at some point.
Is there any 'product' that I could carry that might get me out of trouble if I get black water on a carpet?
