A Plumber in Herefordshire was prosecuted after Hereford Trading Standards Team found that he was falsely claiming to be on the Gas Safe Register when he was not, putting members of the public at risk. The man, pled guilty to charges under the Fraud Act, Theft Act and the Unfair Trading Regulations. It was found that he carried out the work between 2018 and 2023 and worked on domestic gas cookers, hobs, boilers, fires and more.
